Book Delivery for Limited Mobility Patrons

Are you a patron, or former patron of the library who is no longer able to visit us?  Would you—or someone you might know—be interested in having library materials delivered to your home?

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Frankfort Community Public Library is temporarily expanding our Outreach Program to provide materials to individual residents of Clinton County who, due to limited mobility or home confinement, are unable to visit the library in person.

The new program is called “The Book Stops Here,” and began deliveries on September 16th.

Library materials—books, large-print books, DVD’s, magazines or audiobooks—may be ordered via email or telephone for delivery to your home.

You qualify for “The Book Stops Here” if you have no reliable transportation to the library and physically visiting the library is difficult or impossible.  You must live in Clinton County, excepting the Kirklin and Colfax areas.  Lastly, you must have a library card or wish to have a library card.

There are two ways for you to request home delivery.

  1. Call the library at 765-654-8746 and leave a message for “Outreach.”
  2. Email the Outreach Specialist at mclossin@myfcpl.org

At this time, deliveries and pick-ups will be limited to Wednesdays between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Due to current COVID-19 concerns, all deliveries will be non-contact.
