TITLE: Children’s Librarian
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time: 40 hours a week. Including some evenings and weekends.
SUMMARY: The Children’s Librarian will provide quality library service, materials and programs to children at the Frankfort Community Public Library, the three branch libraries, and community daycares
QUALIFICATIONS: MLS from an ALA accredited school preferred. A Bachelor’s degree required. Previous library experience is helpful, but not required. Ability to obtain Indiana Librarian Certification 4 (LC4) within 3 years.

TITLE: Programming/Learning Specialist
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time: 32 hours a week. Including some evenings and weekends.
SUMMARY: Assist the Art and Education Manager to schedule and promote programs, exhibits, educational opportunities, and activities across all areas of the library. Help fulfill the goals and philosophy of the Hubbard Center for Lifelong Learning.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Indiana driver’s license. Associates degree or 60 hours of undergraduate coursework preferred but not required. Experience with program/event planning and use of social media. Ability to obtain Indiana Librarian Certification 6 (LC6) within 6 months.

TITLE: Adult Services Clerk
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time: 24 hours a week. Must have evening and weekend availability.
SUMMARY: To assist library patrons with computer use and printing. Help patrons with technology and reference assistance. Provide quality library service to the patrons of the Frankfort Community Public Library.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must have a basic understanding of most technology. Fluency in Spanish highly preferred. Experience with customer service is strongly preferred

TITLE: Circulation Clerk
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time: 24 hours a week including some evenings and weekends.
SUMMARY: Assist patrons at a circulation desk. This includes checking materials in and out, directing telephone calls and registering patrons for library cards. Shelve library materials and information assistance. Must be public service oriented, have good customer service skills, and good attention to details.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Indiana driver’s license. Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System. Previous library experience is helpful, but not required. Must be physically able to move book carts, shelve books on both high and low shelves.

TITLE: Children’s Clerk
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time: 16 hours a week including some evenings and weekends.
SUMMARY: Serve customers in the Children’s Department by checking out and shelving materials. Help children find materials and use computers. Assist staff in preparing program materials, and in presenting programs. Supervise patrons, and maintain the department especially the Early Literacy Area.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, experience with children, knowledge of computers. Library experience a plus.
