Frankfort and Clinton County serves approximately 30,000 patrons in central Indiana. It is located about 25 miles from both West Lafayette (home of Purdue University), 45 miles from Indianapolis and is about a two-hour drive from Chicago. TITLE: Children’s Librarian
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time: 40 hours a week including nights and weekends.
SUMMARY: The Children’s Librarian will provide quality library service, materials and programs to children at the Frankfort Community Public Library, the three branch libraries, and community daycares.
Wage: Minimum Salary $35,360 annually; excellent benefits
QUALIFICATIONS: An MLS from an ALA accredited school preferred. A Bachelor’s degree required. Previous library experience is helpful, but not required. Ability to obtain Indiana Librarian Certification 4 (LC4) within 3 years.

TITLE: Circulation Clerk
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time, 24 hours a week. Nights and weekends as scheduled.
SUMMARY: : The Circulation Clerk will assist patrons at the main circulation desk. This includes checking materials in and out, directing telephone calls, and registering patrons for library cards as well as shelving books in the adult library.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous library experience is helpful, but not required.

TITLE: Adult Services Clerk
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time, 16 hours a week. Nights and weekends as scheduled.
SUMMARY: : The Adult Services Clerk will perform clerical tasks and provide quality reference services to the patrons of the Frankfort Community Public Library.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. 60 hours of undergraduate coursework or Associate’s degree preferred but not required

TITLE: Genealogy Clerk
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time, 20 hours a week. Nights and weekends as scheduled.
SUMMARY: : The Genealogy Clerk will assist with genealogical projects, clerical tasks and provide quality service to the patrons of the Frankfort Community Public Library as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic knowledge of researching genealogy and local history. Knowledge of Clinton County history and families is helpful.

TITLE: Part-time Branch Clerk (Rossville)
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time hourly position at Rossville: 20 hours per week. Nights and weekends as scheduled.
SUMMARY: The Branch Clerk promotes and provides quality library service to the public by performing the essential job functions under the supervision of the Branch Librarian.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Background or working knowledge of library service is helpful, but not required.

TITLE: Youth Theatre Show Supervisor
WORK SCHEDULE: This is a contract position with a set beginning and end date.
SUMMARY: : The Youth Theatre Show Supervisor will direct the entire cycle of the Frankfort Youth Theatre play from auditions, to performances, to striking the set. To work with the Youth Services Manager for approval on all expenditures on the show.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of stage performance and stage directing experience are also required.
