TITLE: Summer Interns
WORK SCHEDULE: Temporary May-July. Part-time, 16-24 hours per week, including nights and weekends. Schedule determined by the needs of the position.

TITLE: Storytime Music Program Leader
WORK SCHEDULE: Temporary Contract Position June-July
SUMMARY: To plan and direct 14 Storytime Music programs at all library locations (Frankfort Library, Michigan Road Library, Mulberry Library, Rossville Library) for children ages 3-5. Select age appropriate books, music, and activities which may include the use of small instruments or crafts.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma. Valid Indiana driver’s license. Ability to pass background check. Knowledge of music and education. Experience working with children.

TITLE: Adult Services Clerk
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time: 24 hours a week. Must have evening and weekend availability.
SUMMARY: Perform clerical tasks and provide quality reference services to the patrons of the Frankfort Community Public Library.

TITLE: Children’s Assistant – School Age
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time: 24 hours a week including nights and weekends. Schedule determined by the Children’s Manager and the needs of the position.
SUMMARY: Serve customers in the Children’s Department by planning and presenting programming for children in 1st to 5th Grade during the school year and summer reading, assist with collection development of AV materials. Supervise patrons and maintain the department.
QUALIFICATIONS: 60 hours of undergraduate coursework or Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience working with children. Valid Indiana driver’s license. Ability to pass background check. Basic computer knowledge necessary. Library experience a plus. Ability to obtain Indiana Librarian Certification 6 (LC6) within 6 months.
