The Giving Tree

After the successful donation drive Library of Trees at the Frankfort Community Public Library, our community was able to donate an astounding 978 items for the Giving Tree and Salvation Army.

The Giving Tree is a wooden Christmas tree structure located in front of the Frankfort Community Public Library. Those in need can find free winter items bagged for protection from the elements and labeled with the size and style to allow for the best fit. Items will be available at all hours while supplies last.

If you would like to contribute to The Giving Tree please contact Circulation Manager Chelsea Turner at cturner@myfcpl.org. You can also bring in any newly purchased or newly handmade winter items to the Frankfort Library Circulation Desk.

The library will continue to collect new winter items through January 3, 2022, which is also how long the Library of Trees Display will be available.

The library thanks the community leaders Frankfort Garden Club, Frankfort Quilt Guild, Frankfort Rotary, Genda Funeral Home, Goodwin Funeral Home, Archer-Weston Funeral and Cremation Center, Healthy Communities of Clinton County, Learning Ladder Daycare of Clinton County Family YMCA, Salvation Army, Staffing Resources LLC, and the VFW Post 1110 for inspiring the giving spirit this year.
