Introducing the Community Explorer Pack

Hands on learning is one of the best ways for kids to learn, especially if that learning turns out to be a whole lot of fun. The Imagination Station of Lafayette is dedicated to providing “hands-on learning experiences in science, technology, and engineering in order to strengthen the scientific literacy of children and families.” Patrons of the Frankfort Library now have the opportunity to visit the Imagination Station free of charge by using the Community Explorer Pack.

The pack, which is available at the circulation desk of the Frankfort Library, contains a membership pass to the Imagination Station. This pass allows two adults and accompanying children in with no charge. It also gives visitors a 15% discount at the Station Store. In addition to the pass, the pack contains three books of science experiments that for young scientists to perform at home. The pack checks out for a week at a time, but is not renewable.

The Imagination station of Lafayette is located at 600 North 4th Street in Lafayette. The pack contains an information packet with hours and directions. For more information about programs and special events, visit their website at http://www.imagination-station.org/.
