Hello library friends! My name is Mary and I am a summer helper for the children’s department. Growing up, my mom read stories to me all of the time. My very favorite book that she read was A Mother for Choco by Keiko Kasza. Keiko Kasza has always been one of my favorite children’s authors. In each of her books, Keiko uses animal characters who act out a variety of human situations with a combination of humor and passion. Though silly and simple, her books always resonate with young readers. Some other books written by Keiko Kasza are My Lucky Day, Grandpa Toad’s Secrets, andThe Wolf’s Chicken Stew.
