Library Fees and Policies
At Frankfort Community Public Library, you can check more than just books. (But if books are what you’re looking for, we have a pretty great selection!) Our collections include the following items:

How do I get a library card?
Visit any Library location - Frankfort, Michigantown, Mulberry, or Rossville - to apply in person with a valid photo ID.
Who can get a card?
Anyone living in Frankfort, Michigantown, Mulberry, or Rossville can get a library card. But actually anyone can get an FCPL library card! Check out our Circulation Policy for more information.
What do I need to get a card?
A valid photo ID, proof of address, and date of birth.
What if I’m under 18 years old?
You must have a parent or guardian help you apply for a card.

Renewals
Items with holds and long overdue items cannot be renewed. Renewals can be made in person, by phone, or on our website.
Fines
Overdue movies accrue a fine of $0.50 per day, with a maximum fine of $5.00 per item.
When total fines exceed $5.00, check-out is not permitted until fines are paid.
Replacement library cards are $1.00 for children and $2.00 for adults.
