NASA Solar System Ambassador to Discuss Eclipse at FCPL

The Frankfort Community Public Library is excited to host BJ Austin, NASA Solar System Ambassador. Austin will educate on the Solar Eclipse in Skanta Theatre on Sat., March 30, at 1:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

B.J. Austin is the president of an aerospace propulsion research and development and engineering services firm focused on furthering space exploration and space commercialization through advanced propulsion system designs. Mr. Austin will speak on the upcoming total solar eclipse. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive free solar eclipse glasses and safety information.

The NASA Solar System Ambassador program strives to bring NASA missions and science to the public with the use of motivated, knowledgeable volunteers working in their own communities. The program currently has over 730 ambassadors in the 50 states, territories, and military bases.
