Senior Outreach

Are you a loved one currently a resident in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or senior community? If so, the Frankfort Community Library has a special service that you might want to hear about. The Senior Outreach program is dedicated to bringing library materials to seniors in our community. Every Wednesday I visit locations in Frankfort or the surrounding county on a rotating basis. Locations currently served are: Wilshire Court, Friendship Village, Clinton House, Parkview Home, the Wesley Manor, Luther Villa, Mulberry Health, and Milner Community Health Care.

We are always happy to accept new patrons for Senior Outreach. Residents wishing to join will need a library card from the Frankfort Library or one of its branches. Signing up for a new card is easy, and can be done on site. Users can check out all sorts of library materials; including books, DVDs, audiobooks, and magazines. Books are available in both regular and large print.

To learn more about Senior Outreach or to sign up, please contact Alyson at the Frankfort Library. The phone number is 765-654-8746.
