
It’s that time of year again! Summer Reading! This year’s theme is A Universe of Stories so be watching for space stories, crafts, and programs all season! We will even host a NASA Solar System Ambassador on the anniversary of first moon landing, July 20th!
Kick-Off Carnival
The festivities will launch at a Kick-Off Carnival, Saturday, June 1 from 2:00-4:00, held at TPA Park in picnic shelter #5. This exciting event, which is free, is open to all ages and will include several Carnival games, booths, and food.
Prizes
This year the Summer Reading Program will feature several exciting prize drawings at each library for the months of June and July. Among our prizes this year, participants will have the opportunity to win an Indiana State Park pass, a package of 10 tickets to the Prophetstown State Park Pool, 12 tickets to Get Air in Lafayette, or tickets to Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. Prizes are available to all ages and feature a wide-range of interests. Participants may earn a chance to win by:
- Checking out books
- Attending Summer Reading programming
- Submitting a book review

New this year, book reviews may be submitted digitally on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Simply tag the Library on the social media platform of choice using the hashtags #mySummerReading and #myFCPL.

Summer Reading 2019: A Universe of Stories will be at all Clinton County Contractual Library locations including Rossville Library, Mulberry Library, and Michigan Road Library.
