It’s More Than Story Time

Here at the Frankfort Community Public Library we offer a free toddler time program for children ages 18 months through 3 years every Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. and every Wednesday of the month at 10:15 a.m.!

Toddler time is a 45-minute program that offers your child the opportunity to benefit from hearing another adult read to them, from watching other children get engaged in a story, finger play, or song and to be exposed to a variety of books and authors! All of these are wonderful but Toddler Time is so much more!!!

Toddler Time programs help your child learn some essential school readiness skills.  Toddlers practice sitting still for a short time, to listen intently, share with others, and how to take turns and problem solve. We also offer fine and gross motor activities, as well as shape, letter and number recognition!  All of this while having fun!!!

We also offer Toddler Time at our branches as well every other month. At Rossville, it is Wednesdays at 9:45 a.m. At Michigan Road, it is on Thursdays at 9:15 a.m. And at Mulberry, it is Fridays at 9:45. Check out the events calendar for more information.
