Where Will Art “Pop-Up” Next?

The Frankfort Community Public Library with the help of The Ranson Family Advised Fund will bring hands-on art education to Clinton County in a fun new way starting this summer. “Pop-Up Art” is an art outreach program designed to provide community members of all ages and abilities the opportunity to create art and learn about a new medium. The idea is to have library art programs “pop-up” in different parts of Clinton County in order to reach community members that we might not have otherwise. This program is meant to inspire creativity and the use of imagination. In addition to pop-up art classes, this program will provide art kits sponsored by local businesses for patrons to check out for free with their library card.

We are inviting local businesses to sponsor an art kit for $50.00. This donation would allow us to purchase everything a person would need to produce a work of art. The kits include art supplies and books about a specific artist and medium. Your business will be recognized on each kit you sponsor.

Pop-up art is a great way to expand art education outside of the library. Your business/institution will be credited in all our advertising and marketing. Please contact me if you have any questions at janderson@myfcpl.org or call the library and ask for Jamie at 765-654-8746. My hope is that you will help us get this project started and watch with us as it grows.
